On 19th September, I had one of those pinch-me moments in my makeup career - working backstage at London Fashion Week as part of the Girl Meets Brush Pro Team. It's a moment I have always dreamt of and I'm still living off the buzz that it actually happened! The show was for the incredible designer Tran Hung SS26, and it all took place in the buzzing heart of Christ Church in Spitalfields, London.
Walking into the venue, the atmosphere was electric - models, stylists, photographers and makeup artists all moving in sync to get the show runway-ready. Being part of that creative whirlwind is such a unique experience, and I honestly loved every second of it.
The Girl Meets Brush Team 💄

I was so proud to be part of the Girl Meets Brush team at Fashion Week, working alongside the founder, Lynne Mills and other industry experts Suzanne Kinlough, Joyce Connor and Jo Carmichael, as well as the rest of the incredible team of MUA's. Being surrounded by such talented and experienced artists was incredibly inspiring - everyone had their own strengths and approaches, and it was amazing to see the way we all collaborated to bring the looks to life.
Working with this team not only pushed me to stay sharp and focused under fast-paced conditions but also motivated me to continue growing as an artist. The energy, skill, and creativity of the team were infectious, and it was a privilege to learn from such accomplished professionals while contributing my own touch to the show.
I also had the chance to use some of their new makeup products and the new Pro Brush Set. They were a dream to work with, blendable, long-lasting, and totally photo-ready, which is exactly what you need under those bright runway lights. It felt amazing knowing I could trust my kit to deliver when it really counted.
Tran Hung SS26 – The Look

Tran Hung is known for designs that are bold, detailed, and unapologetically creative. To complement this season’s collection, we worked on looks that were fresh, modern, and fashion-forward. Think flawless skin with a hint of blush and a focus on glow.
Backstage was fast-paced, but being surrounded by so much artistry and talent made it an inspiring environment to be in.
We managed to watch the show from the back of the room and there was something so special about watching the models step out onto the runway, knowing you’ve played a part in bringing the designer’s vision to life. It’s honestly addictive - the adrenaline, the teamwork, the beauty of it all.

Final Thoughts
Being part of London Fashion Week has been a huge milestone for me, and I feel so grateful to have worked with such an incredible team.
The whole experience reinforced my skills as an artist - working at that pace, collaborating with so many talented creatives, and adapting quickly to different looks has strengthened my confidence and broadened my artistry. I came away with fresh inspiration, new techniques, and even more drive to keep pushing forward in my career.
What excites me most is how these experiences shape the way I work across all areas of my artistry. The creativity and precision I’ve gained from fashion work inspire my bridal makeup, just as the attention to detail from my brides strengthens my approach backstage. Both worlds feed into each other, and that balance is exactly what makes my journey so exciting.
Until the next adventure…✨
